JPL Mobile App:

Data Collection:

We collect personal data for the following reasons:

a) User Authentication to grant access to user’s JPL Mobile App account:

Granting access is dependent on the collection and successful authentication of the following data:

• the user’s company email address and JPL portal website password, or
• the user’s first and last name, vehicle VIN#, and JPL Card #, or
• the user’s first and last name, vehicle VIN #, and plate # / insurance information.
  

b) Collection of Vehicle Odometer Readings:

1.  We collect monthly vehicle odometer readings to facilitate, as part of our service offering, reporting such as overdue vehicle service notifications, upcoming preventative maintenance notifications, replacement policy notifications, etc.
2. Vehicle Odometer data that is collected on the JPL Mobile App gets synchronized to JPL’s internal operational system.

c) Collection of kilometres driven on a monthly basis:

1. We collect work kilometres driven and personal kilometres driven to facilitate as part of our service offering, Taxable Benefit reporting;
2. Taxable Benefit data that is collected on the JPL Mobile App gets synchronized to JPL’s internal operational system.

d) Data Analytics Tool:

1. In order to monitor and improve app performance and network performance, JPL uses basic user metrics to have visibility into usage data, crash data and performance data.

Sharing of Data:

JPL does not share any of the data it collects with any unauthorized third party.

Permission to Collect Data:

By installing the JPL Mobile App on your mobile device you grant JPL consent to collect and access the data as described above.  By uninstalling the JPL Mobile App from your mobile device you withdraw your consent.

Data Minimization:

We only collect data that is necessary to fulfill our contractual commitments to our customers in terms of our services offered.
